Antenatal education topics
At The Birth Space, our antenatal education is designed to guide you through every stage of preparation for birth and early parenthood.
Led by experienced midwives, who still work clinically, the course includes four face-to-face sessions covering the key topics you'll need - from the signs and stages of labour, birth positions, and comfort techniques to pain relief options, birth choices, and caring for your newborn.
You'll also explore practical and emotional preparation for the postnatal period, including feeding, recovery, and adjusting to life as new parents.
Once your babies have arrived, we invite you back for a fifth session - a relaxed reunion where you can reconnect with your group, share your experiences, and celebrate your journey together.
Each class is practical, inclusive, and reassuring - giving you the knowledge, confidence, and calm you need for your unique path to parenthood.
