Welcome to The Birth Space. By booking or attending a course with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making your booking.

1. About Us
The Birth Space provides midwife-led antenatal education to expectant parents across the UK.

2. Booking and Payment
• Course bookings are made via our website or directly by email confirmation.
• A payment of £180 per couple is required on request to secure your place.
• Discounts are available for single parents, and concession rates are offered for those receiving certain benefits — please contact us before booking to confirm eligibility.
• Your booking is confirmed once full payment has been received and you receive written confirmation from The Birth Space.

3. Course Attendance
• Classes are delivered in small groups to ensure a comfortable, supportive environment.
• Courses are scheduled according to due dates, so we recommend booking early to secure your preferred group.
• Please arrive on time for your sessions to ensure you receive the full benefit of the course.
• You are responsible for notifying us of any relevant health, access, or learning needs at the time of booking so we can make suitable arrangements.

4. Cancellations and Refunds
• If you need to cancel your place, please contact us as soon as possible at info@thebirthspaceuk.co.uk.
• Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date will be refunded in full (minus a small administrative fee of £10).
• Cancellations within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances (at our discretion).
• If you go into labour before the course is complete, we will offer access to remaining content (where applicable) or transfer options to future sessions.
• If The Birth Space must cancel a course (e.g. illness or insufficient numbers), you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

5. Course Content and Responsibility
• Our classes are designed to complement, not replace, the advice provided by your healthcare provider or NHS maternity services.
• All information shared is evidence-based and presented by qualified midwives.
• Each parent’s experience is unique, and The Birth Space cannot guarantee specific outcomes related to birth or parenting.
• Participation in practical or relaxation exercises is voluntary; please speak to your facilitator if you have any concerns.

6. Intellectual Property
All written materials, handouts, and online resources provided by The Birth Space remain our intellectual property and are for your personal use only.
They may not be copied, shared, or reproduced without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to provide accurate, up-to-date information, The Birth Space accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage arising from course participation or the application of information provided.

8. Photography and Privacy
We respect your privacy.
• Photos or recordings will only be taken or shared with your explicit consent.
